CFA 1131 - A Rosewood Lady's Writing Desk

Here we have a fine quality 19th century rosewood and inlaid lady's writing desk.

With a raised gallery back with small shelf for small ornaments and trinkets etc, over fitted pen rest flanked by compartments for inkwells. The tooled, cream leather writing top is hinged and lifts to reveal four pigeon holes and storage space for stationary, letters etc. This is lockable and comes complete with key. The whole stands on square tapering legs connected by a stretcher, the legs terminate in original brown porcelain castors.
