A lovely pair of early Victorian carved oak Wainscot chairs dating from around 1840. They have a carved top rail above two carved fielded panels to the high backrest and with downswept armrests. They have a lovely plank seat with super grain and patina and stands on turned and block legs joined by a turned stretcher.
In very good condition being sound and solid and comfy to sit in with a lovely deep colour and patination to the oak oozing all the charm and character of the period.
