A truly exquisite example of an 18th century free-standing oak spice cabinet. This beautiful piece of country antique furniture has a moulded cornice above a single raised and fielded panelled door opening to reveal an interior consisting of seven drawers, one of which is full-width and a central pigeon hole for a pestle and mortar. It retains its original untouched finish with a sublime colour and patination of great depth and warmth. There is a working lock and key.
