CFA 5792 - Jacobean Oak Dresser Base

Here is an example of a very good quality Victorian golden oak Jacobean style (1603 - 1625) geometric dresser base.

The dresser boasts great craftsmanship with a two plank oak top, Jacobean geometric moulded style drawer fronts and hand dovetailed drawers. The two working geometric drawers are pine lined. The drawers feature escutcheons and two lovely brass fretwork handles, one handle to the centre of each "X". The dresser stands on the original turned front legs and straight legs to the back. This dresser boasts a deep rich golden oak colour which has been created from decades of use and in turn care. It is a sought after size which allows it to fit in most areas of your house.

This dresser would look superb in a variety of rooms from the kitchen, hallway or the living room. This dresser base would certainly grace any home. It is in very good condition commensurate with its age. The two drawers run freely and the whole piece is solid in joint and ready to use.
