A rare and highly sought after early 1700's William III and Mary II oak lowboy. This simple but attractive piece of furniture features a two plank top over a single frieze drawer with small brass drop handle with a pretty pierced almost lotus like back plate. The double arched frieze is finished with a central drop finial. The whole stands on four straight square supports, each one united by a plain stretcher.
This piece has wonderful patina, that can only be built up from hundreds of years of use and care. The simple design of this exquisite piece means it would look wonderful in any homes interior.
