CFA 5814 - A Victorian Satinwood Lowboy

An absolutely magnificent late Victorian Sheraton revival painted satinwood lowboy, having profuse painted decoration in the neo-classical taste. With a beautifully hand painted top with two cherubs holding a garland of flowers, over one long slim drawer, over two shorter, deeper drawers, flanking an arched "knee hole". All three drawers are beautifully painted and have small turned ivory handles. The whole standing on straight slender tapering legs. Decorations include cherubs, scrolls, ribbons, wreaths, flowers and other arabesques and Sheraton motifs.

A stunning, quality piece ready to be the talking point of any interior - Offered in great shape ready to grace its new home.
