CFA 6208 - Early 1800's Oak Coffer/Chest

An early 1800's oak chest with three elaborately carved front panels and three plain panels to the top. The flat, hinged lid opens to reveal ample storage space and a small lidded compartment, known as a "till" which would have been used for storing valuables. The chest is complete with working lock and key.
