Here we have a beautiful Victorian inlaid walnut trumpet sewing table with octagonal walnut top inlaid with multi-wood floral motifs. Inside is lined with the original paper and a well fitted interior of small compartments for sewing implements, 4 of which are lidded in a royal blue material. The larger central well for wools, lace, etc is also lidded. The whole stands on a hexagonal tapering section with turned column standing on 3 cabriole legs.
Complete with key.
A really pretty piece with lovely shine and patina. The top and inlay are in good order, with just a few blemishes commensurate with age and use.
Ideal for a seamstress to keep all their sewing paraphernalia.
