CFA 6254 - A Victorian Coromandel Writing Slope

A really pretty Victorian coromandel writing slope with mother-of-pearl and brass inlay. The box opens to reveal a tooled blue leather writing slope and fitted stationary compartment. The stationary compartment features two inkwells, a pen rest and little compartments for other stationary such as a pencil sharpener, rubber, paper clips etc. There is also a catch which reveals a secret compartment with two small drawers. Both sides of the leather writing surface lift up to reveal more storage space beneath to keep envelopes, paper, stamps etc.

A really pretty piece offered in great original condition - Would make a lovely gift.
