A typical slim early 18th Century brass dial, flat top, oak cased striking longcase clock of 30 hour duration, by Baddely Albrighton (John Baddely, Tong and Albrighton 1727-1804).
The 11" square brass dial is engraved to the centre with the makers details and there are four cast cherub head spandrels to the corners. The plain oak case has a hood with moulded cornice above a pair of plain turned pillars with brass capitals and bases, over a flat top trunk door with brass escutcheon, working lock and key. The whole stands on plain base with platform plinth.
