A sweet diminutive 18th Century mahogany cased brass dial, 30 hour striking longcase clock by Baddely Albrighton (John Baddely, Tong and Albrighton, Shropshire 1727-1804).

The 11" square brass dial has four cast corner spandrels, a matted centre and a pair of blued steel hands, a silvered chapter ring engraved with the makers name and a date aperture revealing the silvered working date wheel. The flat top hood has a moulded cornice, over a pair of turned pillars with brass capitals and bases, a plain trunk and door with working lock and key, over a square base on shaped bracket plinth.
