A small striking pine cased 30 hour chain wind painted dial longcase clock by, W.Bearn, Wellingbro (William Bearn 1824-1830).
The pretty square dial has floral gilt decorated spandrels holding an Arabic numbered chapter ring with rose design in the centre as well as a working date wheel behind an arched aperture. It has the original pair of blued steel hands. The serpentine pedimented hood has turned pillars over a plain trunk with wide door with escutcheon and working lock and key. The whole is supported on a square base with platform plinth.
