An exceptional mid 19th century Scottish mahogany round painted dial striking 8 day longcase clock by Wm.Easton, Glasgow (William Easton circa 1860).
The circular off white dial has black Roman numerals with second, minute, hour and date hands in blued steel and original to the clock. The impressive shape flame mahogany case has a circular shaped hood with ribbon carved pediment over a carved throat above a round topped trunk door with working lock and key above a square panelled base on squat bun feet.
