A rare 18^th century pine cased Georgian caddy top striking 30 hour country longcase clock by Deacon, Barton (F.Deacon, Barton in the Beans 1776).

This desirable cottage clock has a painted 12" square dial with strawberry corners and a central bird of paradise above a half moon date aperture with working date wheel and a pair of blued steel hands. The caddy top hood has turned wooden finials over a pair of turned pillars either side the glass door above a slim trunk with long door above a square base on short bracket feet.
