A mid 18th century tall slim oak cased striking 8 day square brass dial longcase clock by T Reynolds, Oxford (Thomas Reynolds, 1758-1770).
The 11" square brass dial has queen head cast spandrels enclosing a raised silver chapter ring around a finely matted centre with ringed winding holes and working silvered date wheel showing through the half moon shaped aperture. The scroll top hood has a pair of ball and spire finials over a plain frieze over integral round door pilasters with brass knob, over a plain trunk with arched trunk door over a square base on bracket feet.
