An early 18th century, tall slim oak cased square brass dial striking 8 day longcase by Tantum of Loscoe.
The square 11" brass dial has cross-head spandrels around a raised silvered chapter ring enclosing a finely matted centre with blued steel hands. The tall flat top case has a plain frieze over flat top door with a pair of slender pillars either side a glazed hood door with brass knob. The long slim trunk door has its original brass escutcheon and working lock and key over a plain base on platform plinth.
