CFA 6310 - 8 Day Musical Longcase

A very rare slim tall oak cased musical striking and chiming three train 8 day longcase clock, maker unknown.

The 10"square brass dial has foliate scroll spandrels around a raised brass chapter ring with three winding holes in a scroll engraved centre with raised engraved sun boss with strike/silent lever right at the top. The tune is Cambridge and plays every 15 minutes on a series of eight bells. The very tall slender oak case has a flat top hood over round integral door pilasters over a plain trunk with very long door on a square base with platform plinth.
