A tall slim early 18th century, oak cased chain wind brass dial striking 30 hour longcase clock by Thos.Adderley, Wolverhampton (Thomas Adderley, West Midlands).

The 10" square brass dial has crown head spandrels around a raised chapter ring with makers details in script, 15 minute markings on the inside of the chapter ring, a single steel hand set against a finely matted dial centre. The tall oak case has a flat top hood over a fretwork frieze atop a flat moulding above a pair of integral round hood pilasters over a convex throat over a long trunk door with viewing lenticle, brass escutcheon and working lock and key. The whole stands on a square bass supported by a platform plinth.
