The 12" square brass dial has scrolling spandrels enclosing a raised silvered chapter ring around a scroll engraved centre with makers details, two winding holes, a seconds hand and ring and an arched date aperture revealing the silvered working date wheel behind. The plain medium oak case has a hood with shaped pediment, a pair of ball and spire finials over integral turned door pilasters with brass capitals and bases above a plain trunk with arched top door over a square base on bracket plinth.
