A small slim early all oak cased chain wind brass dial 30 hour longcase clock by Warburton, Wolverhampton (Henry Warburton, West Midlands, 1760-1772).
The 11" square brass dial has cast cherub spandrels around a raised brass chapter ring with 15 minute markings to the inside and the makers details in script around a finely matted centre with chamfered arched date aperture revealing the working date wheel behind. There is a single steel hour hand which is original to the clock. The plain trunk has a square top door with brass escutcheon and working lock and key over a plain square base on a bracket plinth.
