A really sweet and attractive William IV period rosewood sewing/chess table. The top with inlaid satinwood and rosewood chequer board over a single frieze drawer with working lock and key. Below the drawer is a green pleated fabric pull out sewing bag to store all your sewing implements; wools, lace, cottons etc. There is an elegantly shaped frame surrounding the sewing bag and a platform base with fluted bun feet.
Complete with key.
A really pretty piece in excellent condition with lovely shine and patina. It has clearly been well looked after over the years and is ready to grace its new setting. Ideal for a seamstress to keep all their sewing paraphernalia.
