Here we have a fantastic George III oak and mahogany bureau. Once open the sloping fall front reveals a mahogany cross-banded and tooled green leather writing surface. There is a well fitted interior of 8 drawers and 6 pigeon holes which flank a small central mahogany cross-banded cupboard, all ideal for documents, letters, stationary etc. This sits above 3 short over 3 long graduating drawers. The 2 smaller drawers also act as the lopers and pull out to support the fall front, once open. The sides are reeded and the whole sits on shaped bracket feet.

This item is offered in great condition and has recently benefitted from a wax and polish.
