CFA 6464 - A Victorian Coromandel Box

A Victorian jewellery/stationary box made from coromandel wood, which was one of the most expensive and exotic woods during the Victorian era. The interior features a lift out tray, revealing storage space underneath. The top has a sunken recessed gilt brass handle with floral engraving.

A nice box ideal for storing jewellery, stationary and small nick nacks.
