A 19th century lever wound Swiss music box. The simulated rosewood case with ebonised interior retains the original printed play list noting eight airs. The lid is inlaid with central marquetry of a torch and ribbon motif. The movement itself is stamped '12894' the single comb with zither attachment plays on a 27.5cm cylinder under a hinged glass cover.
This piece is in fully working order and is offered in good overall condition.
