A French Louis XV style gilt metal and tortoiseshell mantle clock, with a ceramic dial signed Planchon, Au, Palais-Royal with Arabic and Roman numerals. The 2 train movement with outside count wheel striking on a saucer bell. The tortoiseshell veneered case has a leaf and flower finial and leafy angles. The whole is raised on 4 leafy feet.
