CFA 6526 - A Victorian Tortoiseshell Tea Caddy

A truly exquisite Victorian tortoiseshell and mother-of-pearl tea caddy with four ivory ball feet. The outside is beautifully decorated with mother-of-pearl inlay of birds and floral design. The hinged lid, which is lined with a red velvet-like material, opens to reveal two lidded compartments with small ivory handles. These compartments are foil lined. The whole is supported upon 4 ivory ball feet.

The box is in really great condition - A really wonderful piece!
