A Victorian cast iron and brass coffee grinder with brass hopper and label, a turned fruitwood grip on a cranked grinding handle and pull out drawer. The brass plaque/label on the front is a shield and bears the name "GIEVES". The base has two lugs to enable the grinder to be fixed to a shelf or table. The body is marked No 2, which refers to the size.

This is in fully working order and can be used to grind coffee, spices, pepper etc.

A nice addition to any kitchen.
