CFA 6609 - 8 Day Longcase

A neat 19^th unnamed 19^th century oak and mahogany 8 day brass dial longcase clock striking the hours on a domed bell.

The 12"square brass dial has a silvered ring and silvered seconds chapter ring enclosed by four gilt brass corner spandrels. The hood has a swan-neck pediment with a pair of brass roundels either side a central orb and eagle finial over a pair of turned and fluted columns with brass capitals and bases. The trunk with mahogany banding has a double arched top door over a square base and platform plinth.
