A good quality mid 19th century oak/mahogany cased 8 day striking longcase clock by David Thomas, Aberystwith.
The painted arch dial has ruined buildings as the design for the corner spandrels and in the arch. There is a seconds hand and a pair of decorative brass hour and minute hands and a date aperture with working date wheel behind. The mahogany hood has an arched top over a pair of thinly turned pillars over a plain mahogany frieze atop an oak wavy arch trunk door and a pair of integral four turned mahogany pilasters over a square panelled base on short bracket feet.
